The funds will be used to roof over the existing metal roof at the Carneal Building, repair the decking inside and install a return air filter grill on duct, said a press release on Tuesday. “This grant to help renovate ArtsRevive’s Carneal Building means so much more than just improving our physical space-it empowers us to fulfill our mission of using the arts as a catalyst for community development and creative placemaking in Selma and Dallas County,” said Executive Director, Becky Youngblood. “With these upgrades, we can provide a safe, accessible and welcoming environment for community events. This support helps us strengthen the cultural fabric of Selma and ensures that the arts remain a vital force for connection and revitalization in the city we call home!” Source link
