As you travel about early on Sunday, watch for areas of black ice. Any areas that didn’t melt off completely, refroze with the chilly overnight temperatures. The good news is we’ve got another day of above freezing temperatures and sunny skies to help clear us out of any issues for Monday morning.

We do get above freezing today for the Western Carolinas with highs in the upper 30s to low 40s. It’s a sunny day to help clear out any of the lingering snow and ice across the area.

Monday starts off cold with lows in the teens and 20s so make sure you’re still bundling up as we head back to work and school.

Cold and clear(Fox Carolina)

Monday keeps with the colder than normal trend we’ve had the last couple of weeks as highs only get into the low to mid 40s. But we at least have dry and quiet weather with mainly sunny skies.

The work week is pretty quiet overall. The cold air isn’t going anywhere, but we also don’t have any precipitation to worry about. Highs are in the mid 40s in the Upstate through Thursday and the mid 30s to low 40s in the mountains.

Below normal through Thursday(Fox Carolina)

Lows are cold in the teens and 20s area wide.

Cold through Friday(Fox Carolina)

By Friday, we get back to the 50s for the first time in 10 days for the Upstate. And we’re tracking a chance for rain Friday night into Saturday.
