I rarely get mad, but one way to get my gears turning is for someone to try to play me, and act like I’m stupid. SO when I found years ago that black Friday and cyber Monday, where just a way to sell more stuff for the same price but change the amounts, I got a little mad.

But I took it step forward, I made it my mission to learn about sales, consumer habits and what the rich do. And that made even more mad, because I was manipulated and I was also doing the opposite of what rich people do.

For example: lets say I want to buy some running shoes, websites will literally say the price is so good that we cant even show you it, unless you add it to your cart. Then you just type into google and see that theirs a lower price.

I remember reading this book about the art of selling ( I cant remember the title sorry )

But this lady having an issue selling some of her product to tourist

And she left for vacation and let her employee price the items and set them on sale

The employee:

Misprices an items ( make it super expensive and then set it on sale by like 50% of something like that )

The items started selling like crazy, so she actually registered a profit

But it all came down to psychology

Selling techniques don’t just work on kids they also work on adults

Sale ( this make the person think, they are getting a deal )

Limited Time or Limited Stock or Both ( Scarcity Principle )

Herd mentality ( competition )
