So I’ve been selling things since I was 11 years old, the only difference is that my market was my classmates back then but today I sell anything to anyone, and anywhere.

1. Facebook
– And by the way disclaimer, if you do decide to buy and resell things
– You will be at risk of scamming 24/7 ( so keep your eyes open ) and give you some tips by the end of the video

Facebook Marketplace:
– Now there are 328M people in America and 223 million people have Facebook
– And that’s why Facebook launched Facebook market place to compete with eBay and reselling market
– So I guarantee anything that you want usually, someone is selling

However, the big problem is:
– That because Facebook is flooded with ordinary people
– You don’t get offered what some products are worth and some people want a lot more than what a product Is actually worth
– So you always want to be ready to negotiate

Beware:
– When buying or selling someone Facebook, look at the person’s profile, if they look like the Facebook was just create ( that’s a red flag)
– If the person is asking for a cash app payment and does not one to use PayPal transaction for business ( that’s a red flag )
– If the person wants overnight shipping, and is willing to more than its worth ( and you only receive a weird email saying you got the money but never got the money, then it’s a red flag)

Tip: I mostly use it for reselling phones and buying a lot of stuff.

2. Craigslist
– Is notoriously always on the news for some dangerous stuff happening
– And the only time in my entire career that I have been scammed with fake money, was from someone from Craiglist
– So you have to be 100% careful and only meet in during the day, police station and test the bills thoughtfully

However:
– Craiglist is a little complicated because lately in 2020, they have been fighting a lot of scams
– So when you go on Craiglist, you have to send an email or text ( emails are hard to get a response for )
– And sometimes you get added to the scam list because of it

So I suggest:
– Have a burner number from the app
– Have a burner email also
– And never trust anyone ( better safe than sorry )

Tip: I had a friend who went to a job listing, and never came back. They found her days later. ( not alive)

3. eBay
– By far the best place to buy and resell items
– Because they protect both the customers and the sellers
– As long everyone follows the rules ( you will get your money back)

I recommend:
– You sell collectibles items on eBay, it’s one of the best places to go
– And also for iPhones
– And also for every other item out there

However:
– You will pay taxes on what you sell
– You will pay eBay a fee for selling on their platform
– You will be at risk of being scammed

Here are some pro tips I recommend:
– Only ship to the address that eBay gave you or PayPal ( not the address the person said )
– Always input tracking number on the package on eBay
– If the items are over $100-200 pay the extra $2 to have the package need a signature

Story:
– Sold a guy AirPods and he tried to get a refund but the item was brand new and he didn’t want to send the item back
– Turns out the idea has the AirPods ship to a shipping place in Florida to ship somewhere else and turns out he wasn’t even in America
– But because I followed all the rules, ship to the right place, tracking info and everything ( I was in the clear and I got my money )
