Now I’am a Christian and I believe God is the person who will make marriage works, if you make him the center of your marriage. I also believe we are responsible to make genuine efforts to do the best we can

But marriage is not dependent on money or knowledge or family background, beucase if it was then only rich people would stay married.

1. Do you make Enough to Sustain the Household
In the book of Genesis Chapter 2, we get more detail about how God Created man and what he put man on earth to do
We see how he creates Adam and puts in the garden of Eden and gives him a job to do
Later we are instruce to EVE because of man they was no helper

My point:
If you love someone and they cant afford to get married
It doenst mean leave them or stop dating them
It means wait until they can and if they have no interest then consider it strongly

2. Would you Be Okay if I Stopped Working and stayed at home
Titus 2: 3-5
Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, 4 and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.
The point is, if you marry a woman that wants to be a home maker and wants to raise her kids and take care of her home, which I think is beautiful
It’s a good idea to talk about that before hand

Here is why:
If you both work at first but the plan is that onces kids come in, that she will stop working
Then your objective would to build a lifestyle where one income can sustain it
So when it does happen, its not a problem, since it was always part of the plan

3. What is your Approach to Debt ( Pay it, Get more of it, or let it default )
Proverbs 22: 7-9
7 The rich rules over the poor,
and the borrower is the slave of the lender.
8 Whoever sows injustice will reap calamity,
and the rod of his fury will fail.
9 Whoever has a bountiful[b] eye will be blessed,
for he shares his bread with the poor.

The point is, if the person you want to marry has debt, its not a problem, but knowing their approache is very important

Tip: look for evidend in the persons life that this is true

4. How much do you want and why ( do you want money for the sake of sustaining or do you have an abundance mentality no matter the cost )
1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.
Its not a sing to make money, and its not a sin to work and get paid your wages, its fair
However you have to be careful of the person with an unquenshable ambition for money

5. How do you Manage Money as if its yours or someone elses

2 corinthians 9:7
each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Deuteronomy 10:14
14 Behold, to the Lord your God belong heaven and the heaven of heavens, the earth with all that is in it.

The way I see it based In the Bible
Is that everything belongs to God and has been giving to us by God
And we should be responsible with these resources and also be cheerful givers
Its something I want to keep growing in

However:
If the person you want to marry is greedy
Or boseful of all he does
These are things to consider
