5 Mistakes College Students Make In College

Imagine paying almost 100k for something and not trying to get the most of it, that’s most people in college including myself. Their was so many more things that I should have done.

But I didn’t do it, because I was distracted, stupid, and focused on the wrong things.

But if you avoid these 5 mistakes, you’ll do a lot better than the average student for sure.

They Don’t work

I mean get a job

Their are a lot of flexible jobs within and outside the college

I was against this for awhile, because i thought my focus should be on school but for the most part I had to much free time

So here are the benefits

you can use that money not to party but to pay off your loans while you’re in school

My friend did this, she had two jobs and graduated I think debt free

While we mostly graduated with above 20k balances

This does require

discipline

They Don’t do interships

college is literally learning a craft well one year 3 it is

To start a job and to earn money

It’s like a

Long training program, and studies show that studying and practice help you with mastery, which stories I don’t know but it’s just common sense

Apply for interships ( paid or unpaid )

my friend did this while I college, after he graduated they offered him a job

He worked at ibm and start earning a little over 6 figures

While I graduated and had no experience

Get into Massive Debt

graduating with student loans suck

Graduating with credit card debt is double stupid

And then car loans also is triple stupid ( it’s like starting life with a 50lbs bag of stupid around you )

Here my advice

forget about debt, focus on buying what you can and using all your money to pay off debt

The goal is to lighting the load for yourself

My friend graduated with 80k in student loan debt, the sweetest guy I ever meant in my life, he works as a security guard in a hospital and earns 15-18 bucks an hour

Going to the wrong college

I don’t know who’s doing the marketing but it’s working

Everyone has a dream school

It’s so stupid, the best school is the one who pays you the most to go their

Here some advice ( I wish I took )

one; I should have gone to community college first ( I would have gotten the gen courses for a fraction of the price and probably free because I was poor )

Second ( I should have saved money over those 2 years to pay for bachelors in cash and go a school that offered me the money )

Third I should have applied to a millione and 1 scholarships

This embarrassing

but it works, forget about the average people because most of them are stupid

Grades don’t signal knowledge

in college in made on the president’s list

And on the deans list and even graduated with honors

The minute I walked out of college I forgot everything except my student loan balance

My point is this

worry about knowledge, application and opportunities

That’s all that college is about

Learning, finding somewhere to apply the knowledge and finding a place to get paid
