Some of my friends that don’t have any savings, were planning on getting personal loans to invest in the market. “ I never recommend that”
– Investing is not gambling, it’s the opposite.
– And before I even get to the stock market and real estate

1. Invest in yourself ( emergencies )
– I wish I could say, just put all your money in the market
– But If this market changes for 2 years or even 7-10 years
– Well then you might have to sell in the low end and lose the bulk of your money and I don’t want that for you.

The Core Idea:
– Wipe off everything expense in your book that is not a need during this time
– Use the extra money left over to save for 6-12 months worth of expenses
– Why so long, because this gives you options

2. Invest in cash
– I know cash is king and I don’t really agree with that
– But I do believe that options are king
– So I want you to keep a percentage of your money in cash for other lucrative investments.

For examples:
– If you put 100% of your money into the market, in 5-10 years you’ll see a big difference, but if on the way you lose your job then you might have to sell
– But if you have for example 25% into Stocks, 50% in cash flow real estate and 25% cash ( for random good investments ), then you’ll always have more options
– So the point is with cash and emergency, you will have a ton of balance.

3. Invest in the stock market ( Hot sale )
– Thiers only 3 days most Americans look forward to
– Tax return day, Black Friday and Chrismas
– And it’s because of free money and also a lot of sales

But…
– When it comes to the stock market, where its been proving over 100 years, that every downturn, turns into a profit
– People freak out
– SO here what you do.
My investments:
– I only invest in Index funds and Bonds, I like diversification and I like to lower the risk also
– So here are the Exact percentages and the names of what I currently invest in.
– VOO: 38%
– VB: 14%
– VWO: 4%
– VNQ: 8%
– SHY: 10%
– LQD: 10%
– VEA: 16%

– This way of investing gives me balance in each and every single market.

4. Create a side hustle
– Back high school they told us
– That not going to college was risky, and in college, they said starting is a business is risky and to get a full-time job
– But not that’s the riskiest thing you can possibly do unless you work from home

The Answer:
– Take $500 and invest into a side hustle and also getting the information you need

– The point is you need to create another stream of income while maintaining your current one

Why:
– This gives you more money to invest and more security.

5. Invest in real estate ( loans will be extremely low, because of the fed rate)
– But also because of supply and demand
– It’s causing the people trying to refinance their loans to drive up the price a little
– But real estate is still pretty solid
I don’t want to say this:
– But we all know some people bought homes they couldn’t afford because they had a fancy job
– But now, that might change, and that home might be up for sale
– So its always good to keep on 3 eyes open for real estate ( not a typo)

I’m Currently:
– Savings up for the real estate and getting all my paperwork in order.
– The first step should be to replace your landlord
– And then rent that and become a landlord.

6. Retirement Account
– If your retirement accounts 401k, or Roth are down 10 or 15%, this might be the year you want to go heavy
– Don’t get scared and max it out as long as you can
– Because history shows it will bounce back.

In conclusion: Everyone has a plan until they get hit in the face, but you have to keep going.
