6th annual Black Culture Festival to celebrate Black excellence in Rochester

Rochester, N.Y. — Day two of the 6th annual Black Culture Festival takes place on Sunday, bringing a celebration of Black excellence and innovation to Rochester’s Parcel 5.

This year’s theme, “Dripping in Culture,” will highlight Black influence in fashion, creativity, and entrepreneurship.

Among the festivities, there will be a mainstage concert with local and national artists, and a family fashion show celebrating Black style across generations.

Attendees can also explore a vendor market with over 50 Black-owned businesses, food trucks, artists, giveaways, and more.

“The Black Culture Festival is more than an event—it’s a movement rooted in pride, empowerment, and joy,” said Devin Williams, founder of Willpower Media Company. “This festival creates space for us to celebrate who we are, support local businesses, and inspire the next generation.”

Sunday’s event runs through 8 p.m. and is free and family-friendly.
