7 Finance Books That Changed My Life

When you grow up with not mentors it can definitely set you back a few years.
You won’t always be able to meet your heroes in person, but you can definitely learn from them in books.

1. Millionaire Mind by T Harv
– Now this book was the gateway
– And it basically taught me how rich people think vs how poor people thing
– And I know it sounds mean but it’s the truth ( mentally places a massive part of this game)

Big Lesson:
– I didn’t come from a rich family, and if I kept thinking the way I though
– I was never going to be wealthy
– Because the more money I made the more money I spent
– And I also thought that success was a reserve for the already successful

So:
– This book changed the way I think about money and opportunities
– And it opened the flood gates to everything else

2. The richest man in Babylon
– This entire book is based on tablets they found
– That over 2000 years old
– But they help and apply to today’s finance problems ( that’s how simple money is )

I Learned:
– The laws of money
– The laws to multiply the money
– And also how to manage money

If it wasn’t for this book:
– I wouldn’t have been able to create my simple budget
– To invest, pay a debt, save emergency
– And cover every aspect of my financial life

3. You are a badass at making money Jen Centura
– It’s one the most real no BS books I ever read
– And It’s a book I recommend everyone read at least
– Once a year or so

I learned:
– Don’t negotiate with yourself when it comes to your goals
– You have to keep your word and you have to take action
– The minute you start procrastinating is when you start to lose.

Another Idea is: Love negative people from a distance
– You cant surround yourself with sharks and expect not to get bitten
– So love the negative people from a distance
– And start creating your circle of good people with value.

4. the next door millionaire by Thomas J. Stanley
– this book removed the BS from the standard idea of what a millionaire is
– I though millionaires needed to have expensive cars
– Or they needed to be movie stars or rappers ( but that was all lies)

This entire Books
– Is about a study that they do on the average millionaire in America
– And they find out that 1 in 5 still have a 9-5 job
– They drive used cars and live in a middle-class neighborhood
– And their kids go to public school

The core idea:
– If you want to be rich keep your expenses low
– And keep investing
– Over the long term

5. The Four Hour Workweek ( this is book less about working and more about the 80-20 rule ) – Tim Ferriss
– Ever since I was a kid
– I thought to be successful you needed to work a lot and work hard
– And when I got older, I saw that the people that did usually didn’t have a lot to show for it

I learned:
– About the 80-20 rule
– I learned about delegating the task that can be done for cheaper and better by someone else
– And I learned about streamlining things so you can have free time

Example:
– Have 2 channels, I upload daily
– I can hire editors and cut my time in halve
– And focus on making more great videos.

6. Mastery by Robert green
– Now this book is about developing your skills
– And it’s a very long books
– But defiantly worth every page

7. Unfuck Yourself by Gary John Bishop
– Reading this book
– Is like a having a friend that tells you the truth 24/7
– And does not let you bs yourself

The main Idea:
– Are you willing or unwilling to do something
– There is no halfway
– This concept changes my life, with youtube, relationships, exercise, and more.

However to be honest with you: these are the books that helped, but I’ve read so many more books that also helped me a ton
