– Or you can get another provider that users the same connection they do, for example, Mint Mobile, it cost $15 a month for 8gb a month, if you have wifi at home you don’t need more than that, but you can go all the way up to 12gb.

On android: settings, connections, and data usage.

2. Subscriptions

How to:
– Check your bank app or the paper statement
– Look through every single automatic payment and ask yourself if you really need it
– I know people that have Spotify, apple music, Disney plus, Hulu, Netflix, facemask, BJS Cosco
– The point is if you’re not getting the value remove it, and if you have something similar remove it.

Me personally: I only have Netflix, Bjs, Phone Bill, and my internet bill. Nothing else.

3. Save Automatically
– Just how subscription take your money automatically you can create a savings account that does the exact same thing
– So every time you get paid, that money automatically is set aside in another account
– Why? Because if you have easy access to it, then you’ll probably spend it at first.

For this I recommend:
– Get Wealthfront or Sofi money Account
– That way it takes the money a few days to get to you if you request back
– So it gives you time to think about it.

4. Have Short term and long term Goal

Keep mind:
S: Specific ( what it is you want and Why, no why and your goal is flimsy)
M: Measurable ( track your progress against your progress, do not compare yourself) – example I have 225k subs but I had 100 before, I just measured myself against myself and kept growing
A: Achievable: If someone has done it then you can do it. If you don’t know-how, then go find out how with books and courses. Before the best in your field.
R: Relevant to you and how you see yourself both short term and long term
T: Set a deadline ( or you’ll wait till the final hour to hand in the essay

5. Buy used Instead of New when you can
– Somethings you should always buy new, like underwear and a mattress
– but when it comes to cell phones, furniture, Even clothes you can get most of things for a discount and some even for free

Tip: I use to spend $1000s of dollars every year on clothing and new iPhones. Today with $50 bucks I can buy 30 shirts and 5 jeans, and call it a day.

6. Bad Debt
– If you have credit card debt, personal or anything that’s costing you more than 5% a year
– Get rid of the balance

I know People:
– That is literally spending more than they make because of credit card
– so if that’s you, just stop using them and pay off the balance step by step
– once you’re done just put a few automatic bills on it and pay It off in full automatically to keep your credit score nice.

7. Have a Budget: I used the simple Budget Method
– You can’t improve what you don’t track
– So here how my budget works

Two ways: envelopes or Sofi Money Account
– Emergency account 6 months (10%)
– Investment account ( 10%)
– Debt Payments ( 20-40%)
– Expenses (50-70%)
– Fun Account (5-10%)
– Charity account (1-10%)

Tip: Make sure it adds to 100% and don’t go below the minimums I set, unless its for expenses: if you do this correctly, every dollar you make will have a job.
