A huge warning about: Joining Threads may delete your Instagram account

I joined Threads last night and the next day, I lost access to my 433,000 Instagram followers. I then read an article that stated that the two accounts are linked, so deleting one will delete the other.

I wanted to talk about this issue with Threads and let you know that there may be something strange going on.
