African nations react to U.S. travel ban, restrictions

The African Union condemned U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to impose new travel restrictions on 19 countries, most of them in Africa, warning it could harm decades of diplomatic, educational, and commercial ties. The affected countries responded differently to the ban. Chad for instance suspended visas for Americans.
