Amazon’s Jeff Bezos allegedly partied while factory destroyed by tornado

According to the-sun.com, JEFF Bezos has been slammed over his “late” response to the tornado tragedy that left at least six Amazon workers dead.

The billionaire took nearly 24 hours to publicly respond to the disaster after several twisters destroyed an Amazon warehouse in Edwardsville, Illinois, and trapped 100 workers inside on Friday.

The warehouse’s roof was ripped off and its concrete walls collapsed as the site was reduced to rubble.

On Saturday morning, the Amazon founder made no mention of the deadly collapse when he posted on social media.

Hours later, Bezos posted: “The news from Edwardsville is tragic. We’re heartbroken over the loss of our teammates there, and our thoughts and prayers are with their families in loved ones.

“All of Edwardsville should know that the Amazon team is committed to supporting them and will be by their side through this crisis.

“We extend our fullest gratitude to all the incredible first responders who have worked so tirelessly at the site.”

But the billionaire’s “heartbreak” was “too little, too late” for social media users, who slammed the tech mogul for his response.
