Atlantic City to host Black Business Expo

Atlantic City’s Department of Economic Development will host the Black Business Expo this Tuesday, Aug. 26, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the All Wars Memorial Building at 1510 Adriatic Ave. This event is free and open to the public.

The Expo will feature dozens of local Black-owned businesses showcasing products and services. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect directly with business owners.

The event will feature:

  • Panel discussions and networking opportunities with both veteran and emerging entrepreneurs, who will discuss economic empowerment in Atlantic City
  • Assistance with small business micro-business grant applications
  • A historical exhibit curated by Ralph Hunter, highlighting the history of Black businesses in Atlantic City.

The Black Business Expo is part of Atlantic City’s recognition of National Black Business Month, observed every August to acknowledge the impact of Black-owned businesses on local and national economies.

The African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey, along with the African American Chamber of Commerce of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, will also be participating in this event.
