1. Notice This First
– We work an average of almost 40 hours a week
– And we retire at around 64 years old
– That’s almost 46-42 years of work
– And for all of our hard work, we usually have very poor results.
It’s true we work a lot but we still have another 8 hours available during the day
– And here is my theory on the reason why we as American are so poor
– Even though we make a lot of money and live in the richest country in the world ( as of the time of making this video )
– Think very carefully about what I’m about to say

This is your day:
– You sell 8 hours and you work 8 hours
– And all while you are working and having those extra 8 hours free, you most likely consume something online
– Do you know on an annual basis we watch around 127,000 thousand ads

2. What are these ads Promoting ( products and things ?)
– The truth is no
– Ads don’t promote products, they promote things that you can only get from real-life

Here an example:
– As a Man: you watch an ad for a BMW car, you are not promised a car. But you are promised prestige, respect and people’s admiration.
– As a Woman: you get promoted make up, but what you are really promised standing out, being beautiful, and valued

The truth is:
– We can talk big and say we aren’t being influnced
– But it’s ridiculous to think that we are not
– When we watch over 127k ads per year

What is the overall goal:
– It creates consumers that buy things without needed them but just because they want the latest and greatest
– Or because they want to be happy
– They want to be respected

Tip: from an emotional point of view, that’s what happening

3. The Problem
– You are willing to work and have nothing to show for it
– That has to stop
– You have to be serious about what you are doing

Here are the mistakes you are making:
– You trade cars every 3 years or every 5 and you buy new or finance
– You buy a big house with some crazy payment
– Buy a bunch of clothes that you don’t need
– You eat out when you have food at home
– You getting into a bunch of debt, which makes it harder to get out of this
– You upgrade when you don’t need to and you buy things that you don’t need

4. What is the solution
– Get of debt
– Save for emergencies
– Build a budget

Yes yes yes:
– But it’s more than that
– It’s renewing your mind by removing the garbage and replacing it with solid food
