YOUTUBE Before You Upgrade To The iPhone 16 | Watch This AdminSeptember 18, 2024029 views If you keep buying the latest iPhone every single year while you have zero saying you will grow old and broke, if you can’t control your spending your spending you’ll be eating cat food by the time you turn 70. I don’t think cats like cat food. So every year on my channel I make a video about the latest iPhone and try to get people not to buy it and to reconsider their financial choices. 💲Patreon Exclusive💲 https://www.patreon.com/tommybryson 😎Call Me😎: https://bit.ly/30IBr0i 😎Second Channel😎: https://bit.ly/3c4sVPS 👨🏽💻Financial Freedom Course👨🏽💻$100 OFF CODE: LONGTERM Link: https://longtermteam.teachable.com/p/financial-freedom-steps-from-nothing-to-freedom 1. iPhone and Smartphones overall are Tools – although Apple spends a lot of money trying to convince you that their products are status symbols to mean that you are cool, or have money, in reality, its just a small computer in your pocket and a powerful one – the best way to buy an iphone is to buy a used iphone here is the Math; – 99% of us have no business getting a Pro Phone, they are fancier and more expensive and have things we don’t need ( you don’t need a $1,000 dollar smartphone to take pictures of your cat ) – Most of us can do with the normal phones and I recommend you learn to use less storage, if you need 512gb or 1tb, most likely your house is also filled with cluttered things you keep without needing ( read a book on minimalist it should help ) – iPhone 16 $800 not including taxes ( that’s a lot of money ) – you can get a 15 for $200 to $300 off and 14 for even less money tip: you don’t need the latest and greatest if your device is still working 2. You can’t afford and iPhone and neither can I – The iPhone cost $800 upfront but it cost about 4 hours of your time each day – If you calculate that at $20 per hours its about $29,200 a year – You can’t afford it It’s why I get upgrading in reverse for the past 3 years – Iphone 14 pro max to iphone 13 mini – 13 mini to Iphone 13 pro – Iphone 13 pro to iPhone SE 3rd gen – 3rd gen to Samsung s23 – My next and final upgrade for some time is going to be a Google Pixel ( I’ll be installing a custom ROM to only use WhatsApp and GPS) With all the time I’ve been saving : – I’ve been learning how to code Python – Spending time with my wife – And getting my health in order My goal is to spend 2 hours or maybe 1 hour on my phone per day 3. It still works – Only replace your phone when it becomes more expensive to fix than the value of the device – Then buy another used one Here is an example: – You have an iphone X and they go for about $100 to $200 – If the battery is bad and the screen is cracked, should you replace or fix – I use a website called fix.ez – Screen is $60 original quality and the batter is $10 ($70) – I would keep – But if the phone is worth $50 and the replacement are $100, I’ll sell This happens a lot with Google phones and Samsung: – Screens are so expensive to repair that It makes sense to get another phone that’s used Tip: security updates may be a sign that you should replace but I don’t care about them either * PRO TIP* INFORMATION IS EVERYTHING 💲Patreon Exclusive💲 https://www.patreon.com/tommybryson 👕Merch👕 https://teespring.com/stores/tommybryson ✅2 FREE AUDIOBOOKS✅ https://amzn.to/2Enayo8¬¬¬ 🎁ACORN FREE $5🎁 Link: https://acorns.com/invite/38EYSU ⚡FREE KINDLE UNLIMITED⚡ (traditional reading) Link: https://amzn.to/2VGbxt9 👨🏽💻DISCORD PRIVATE GROUP👨🏽💻 https://discord.gg/EcZEHpA My Camera Gear: https://www.amazon.com/shop/tommybryson ✔ Help Us Reach 600,000 Subscribers: https://goo.gl/0wvm6w 😎All My Social Media😎 Link: https://linktr.ee/tommybryson *Some of the links and other products that appear on this video are from companies in which Tommy Bryson will earn an affiliate commission or referral bonus.
