Benjamin Graham: The Mind Behind Wall Street’s Richest’ #shorts

Benjamin Graham was an American economist and investor who is widely considered to be the father of value investing. He was born in 1894 and lived through some of the most tumultuous times in American history, including the Great Depression and World War II.

Graham’s approach to investing focused on buying stocks that were undervalued by the market and had a margin of safety. He believed that investors should focus on the fundamentals of a company, such as its balance sheet, earnings, and dividends, rather than trying to predict short-term market trends.

Graham’s ideas were laid out in his book ‘Security Analysis,’ which he co-authored with David Dodd, and later in his seminal work, ‘The Intelligent Investor.’ His influence on the world of investing was immense, and his ideas have inspired generations of investors, including Warren Buffett, who was one of Graham’s students at Columbia University.

In addition to his work in investing, Graham also taught at Columbia University and mentored some of the most successful investors of his time. He passed away in 1976, but his legacy lives on through his ideas and his impact on the world of investing.
