Best of Black Businesses Twin Cities

The Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder and Sister Spokesman invite Twin Cities residents to take part in an important celebration of Black business ownership and entrepreneurship. The Best of Black Businesses program is now open for public voting and will honor five standout Black-owned businesses this November—one in each of the following categories: Food & Drink, Hair & Nails, Health & Wellness, Retail & Merchandise, and Professional Services.

What voting gets you

By casting your ballot, you help decide which businesses rise to the top. Each winner will receive:

• A Best of Black Businesses award plaque at the November celebration
• Editorial recognition in print and online with the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder
• A spotlight in Sister Spokesman’s digital and community outreach channels
• Community acknowledgement as one of the Twin Cities’ top Black-owned businesses for 2025

This recognition is about more than prestige. It creates visibility, drives growth, and strengthens the network of Black enterprise across the region.
