Black Dog Animal Rescues to Host Vaccine Clinic | News

A puppy prepares to get vaccinated.

Black Dog Animal Rescue (BDAR) will host their first Community Vaccine Clinic of the year on Saturday February 15, 2025. The clinic will take place from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm at BDAR’s location in Cheyenne – 2407 E. 9th Street.

Vaccines will be available for cats and dogs at low-cost prices ranging from $0-$20. Available vaccines include rabies for both cats and dogs, DA2PP and bordetella for dogs, and FVRCP for cats. Thanks to a generous grant from Petco Love, Black Dog Animal Rescue is able to provide the DA2PP and FVRCP vaccines completely free to the community! Microchipping is available to animals receiving vaccines at $20 per animal.

We still have open appointments for those needing vaccines for their animals. You can call to make an appointment at 307-514-4024. When appointments are full we will take walk-ins as available. Our Veterinary partners have to leave by 1PM, so we will stop taking in animals when we are full. All animals must be brought in either on leash or in a carrier, and all animals must be accompanied by a handler. If you have two animals you are bringing in then you need two adults to handle those animals.

If you have any previous vaccination records for your animals, please bring those as well. It will help the veterinarians in their assessment of your animals. It is important to keep your animals up to date on their vaccinations as immunized animals help to keep the community healthy as well. BDAR is happy to provide this service for our community and will answer any questions individuals may have about the clinic. We hope to see you there.

Black Dog Animal Rescue’s mission is to promote, provide, and advocate for the needs of companion animals.
