Black Entrepreneurs Week: Nov 30

The Equiliberty Community Impact Foundation (ECIF) proudly presents the 4th annual Black Entrepreneurs Week (BEW), taking place November 30 – December 7, 2024. This cornerstone event is dedicated to empowering and uplifting Black entrepreneurs across the Houston area with a dynamic series of online and in-person events, interactive workshops, networking events, culinary experiences, and live performances. BEW is a 8-day community-wide festival that celebrate Black-owned businesses, connects local entrepreneurs to the Houston ecosystem, and provides opportunities for attendees to get started their generational wealth building journey.

This year, BEW is excited to offer more opportunities for entrepreneurs to grow and and succeed, including: the Black Wealth Summit, BEW Founders Day, and the Black Collective VIP holiday event.  In addition to these marquee events, BEW will feature the first ever BEW Hack-A-Thon, BEW Investor’s Roundtable, technology activations, small business and startup pitch competitions, inspirational speaker sessions, and panel discussions led by industry experts. Attendees will gain valuable insights, access to capital opportunities, and mentors dedicated to meeting them where they are at.

Black Entrepreneurs Week will spotlight various locations throughout Houston that offer essential resources and support to startups, including co-working spaces, incubators, accelerators, and mentorship programs. By showcasing these dynamic hubs, the event aims to connect entrepreneurs with the tools and networks necessary for success.
