Black Female Investor Joins European VC Firm 4P CAPITAL – urbangeekz

Prolific angel investor, founder, and startup advisor Vera Baker has joined 4P CAPITAL as a partner.
One of France’s best-known angel investors, Baker has recently joined the firm to lead the early-stage VC strategy and has already led one investment out of the Resilience 1 fund. 4P CAPITAL is an emerging European asset manager investing in climate,  health, and education.

Originating from San Francisco, Baker’s entrepreneurial journey is a testament to her passion and commitment. Her successful background in political fundraising in Washington, D.C., led her to the vibrant French Tech ecosystem more than a decade ago. 

She quickly established herself as a key figure in Paris’ tech scene, taking on several operational and advisory roles in startups and accelerators. In 2020, she began Angel investing as an Atomico Angel, rapidly growing her portfolio to 30 impact startups in Europe and the US, including Emidat, Climate-X, Green-Got, and  PlanetFWD.
