Black History Month 2025 | Student news from King’s College London

The theme for Black History Month (BHM) 2025 is “Standing Firm in Power and Pride”, which celebrates the resilience and strength of Black communities across the world and highlights the immense contribution Black people have made to progress. You can find more information on the BHM website.

Throughout the month we will be sharing and promoting activities happening across the University and would love to hear from you about what you’re doing. If you have anything planned for Black History Month, please let us know via this form. We’ll update this article as we hear about more activities and events taking place across King’s.

Find out more about the Race Equality Network, a community network created and led by dedicated volunteer staff and PGR students. Open to all it supports connections and community for staff and PGR students from racially minoritised backgrounds at King’s.
