Black Stars to face Central African Republic in Morocco


The Black Stars of last away fixture in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Central African Republic will be played on neutral ground on October 8, 2025.

Central African Republic (CAR) has chosen Morocco for their final home game and will host the Black Stars at the El Abdi Stadium in El Jadida.

The decision was confirmed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

CAR will host Ghana in Morocco because non of their stadia meet CAF’s stadium requirements for hosting international matches.

The Black Stars will return home after the match in Morocco for their last game of the qualifiers against Comoros on Saturday, October 11 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Ghana are currently on top of the group with 19 points and will need to avoid defeat in any of their final two games to secure automatic qualification to the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico.
