BREAKING: New Stimulus Checks After Covid-19 Treatment Results?

So Gilead trials are in: ( us trying to find a vaccine, which determines more stimulus or no stimulus)

1. Initial Reaction of the News
– some people are taking these trials results
– And taking them straight to the bank
– Recession over and everything Is good and the market is going up to confirm It

But:
Once you read these results:
– You come to find out: side effects include Liver problems, acute respiratory system failure, and nasua
– And some mortality rates are at 7%
– And they are still working on a test for may

And we still don’t know about the long term effect

2. What’s Going on: Gilead Phase 3 results
– Pase 3 test ( human trials )
– They are going to Summit their finding:
– And instead of 10 days dose of remdevir they found that a controlled dose of 5 days should work the same ( which cuts the time down and also the amount the drug used)

But:
– Remdesivir is not yet licensed or approved anywhere globally and has not yet been demonstrated to be safe or effective for the treatment of COVID-19

Goal For the Test:
– Success was defined: as if you came in needing oxygen to have a really bad fever: if you were discharged from the hospital then it worked.( and the success rate 50-60% for 5-10 days)
Example: 200 people
– Well 120 recovered in 5 days 60%
– And in 10 days 53 percent recovered

Bad news:
– mortality rates past day 15 is 7% in Italy
– Side effects Nausea, acute respiratory failure, liver problems

General Idea:
– Its an improvement and best results are with people that detect symptoms within the first 5 -10 days and they get the drug
– But it’s not Perfect at all yet

These Trials:
– Are being done worldwide
– And they are working on a second trial with people that don’t have as bad symptoms to see how the body reacts. ( results by the end of May)

3. How Were people Being Treated: Supportive medicine ( code for your body needs to fight it on its own but we’ll try something )
– Cough Medicine to ease your cough
– Fever medicine to reduce fever
– ( sometimes antibiotics)
– Oxigen support or ventilators

Treatment Ideas:
– Remdesivir ( a drug original created for ebola)
– Chloroquine ( Meleria )
– Ritonavir, Lopinavir: ( for HIV)
– And even donating plasma

Some People:
– Were just waiting for the summer ( even though in places with summer currently, there were still cases)

What do I think:
– Its good that we are making progress, but these things take months of testing ( and they already working on production ( I just don’t know about the long term lasting effects)
– It sounds like we are just getting started in the solution but people think we already there. These odds are terrible and I don’t like them.
