The Black Achievement Fund (BAF) is making history with the official launch of Nu Kemet Retreat, Residential Community, and Glamping Village—an innovative 112-acre development in the peaceful town of Toomsboro, Georgia. Just two hours from Atlanta, Nu Kemet blends modern pyramid-inspired architecture, cultural heritage, and natural tranquility to offer a truly unique living and retreat experience for Black professionals, families, and retirees.

More than a residential neighborhood, Nu Kemet is a movement. It was created to restore and elevate the legacy of historic Black leisure communities such as Sag Harbor (NY), Idlewild (MI), and Highland Beach (MD)—places that offered sanctuary, healing, and joy during times of segregation.
