City of Red Deer accepting applications for fall community rec grants

The City of Red Deer is now accepting applications for its Community Recreation Enhancement Grant.

Applications are accepted twice per year. The fall intake deadline is Friday, Oct. 18 at 4 p.m.

The city says the program provides funding to enhance the delivery of community recreation programs, services and events in Red Deer.

According to a city release, Red Deer awarded approximately $100,000 to community sport and recreation groups in 2023.

The Community Recreation Enhancement Grant is received exclusively via its online portal. The submission system is quick to set up and easy to use.
