Using a Mac Computer as a Graphic Designer has some advantages but it’s not essential. You can do the exact same work with a Windows computer. Tradition tells designers they have to use Apple Mac computers or they are not real designers, but that doesn’t add up to reality. It is merely a tradition and dogma handed down by the industry from a time when that was closer to the truth. A Mac is an investment you can and maybe even should make, but only once it is practical, meaning when you are making money as a designer.
