Meal prep is a great way to save time and money (and get healthy if that’s your goal) but it’s not just for bodybuilders. Families can use family meal prep to take advantage of the budgeting and time savings too.

Family meal plans usually involve cooking one meal a night or every other night, but we don’t always have time for that. We are two busy working parents so we need to be efficient with our time–especially on the weekends. Family meal prep for the week means that you only cook one or two days a week, which frees up your other nights for spending quality time with your family or just relaxing.

Aside from saving time in the kitchen, family meal prep also saves money because you can buy things in bulk and take advantage of the savings there.
