Graduation Day from Erie’s Black Wall Street | Local News


It was an exciting day for students of Erie’s Black Wall Street Ventures Cohort as thirteen of them graduated.

The graduation ceremony for the entrepreneurs took place at the Erie Center for Arts and Technology on Saturday.The group spent months learning about what it takes to start a business as well as the tools they need to operate a business.Following the ceremony, the graduates presented their new businesses to the community with a vendor showcase and fair.People could learn about the new business ventures and test out the different services and products.Organizers said by teaching these skills to entrepreneurs it opens the door to new business ideas and helps stimulate the economy here in Erie.
