Hinks Second Grade Class Wins MEMSPA Safe Space Grant Award | Community








ALPENA, Mich. (WBKB) – Mrs. Sklba, the second-grade teacher at Hinks, has been selected to receive a Michigan Elementary & Middle School Principals Association (MEMSPA) Foundation Safe Space Grant. Her class was one of six across the state recognized for providing outstanding support to students.

MEMSPA Executive Director Paul Liabenow visited Hinks to deliver new items for the classroom, enhancing the learning environment for Mrs. Sklba’s students.
