How I Used Lessons From The Bible To Make Money

Money Is one of things that people feel three ways about, its important, not important or lets just pretend like it doesn’t exist until something happens. And before I got the bible I read a lot of books, a lot, and when I finally started to read the bible, I started to see how many books the bible inspired; especially book about money and self-help.

I learn that rules, tricks and formulas tend to become obsolete with time; but principles they last forever; it’s like gravity.

1. Don’t Love Money

-I learned from Warren Buffet, that if you do what you love and you become the best at it, the money will come ( but people that tend to worry only about money and make money their God, tend to struggle the most, and even if they get it, they don’t really have a complete life )

-You know those people that they are so poor that all they have is money

-The bible says, “for the love of money is the root of all evil” 1 timothy 6:10

The way I would apply this in this world is simple:

-Find something you like to do, your good at it and it also makes you money

-Teaching people about money and financing and truth (doesn’t feel like work to me)

-And if I got paid half of what I get paid now, I would do it still (I got paid 0 for the first 10 + years and kept doing it)

2. Lessons debt

-The debtor is slave to the lender ( book of proverbs )

-Don’t be a guarantor for people aka co-borrower ( in the book proverbs )

-Pay back your debts ( the wicked borrow and never repay)

I’ll share some stories with your guys:

-I know people, especially parents that love to serve as guarantor for kids that cant afford something

-And then something goes wrong and they end up in trouble

-The bible also says, go ask the person to take you off and beg if you have to

Second Story:

-Pay back your debts, I know people that are the happiest borrowers until its time for them to repay the money back

-I’ve seen friendships end, family relationships broken

Don’t borrow money

-I understand money, thank God I do

-I get that OPM is a great way to leverage money and get their faster

-But guess what you also are held responsible for that debt ( sometimes, its better to go slower than faster )

3. Listen to wise Counsel

-Advice is something freely giving

-Which means sometimes you get a lot for nothing

-But most of the time you get nothing for nothing that ends costing you a lot in life

What I’ve learned is:

-Learn from the people that you want to model

-You want to be a better person, check out Jesus

-You want to be better with money check out Warren Buffet and so on

4. What you Give will not be for vein

-Share your resources with the poor

-Give to your church with an open heart

-Be content in the good and the bad
