1. Buying and Selling gift cards
– This is a very simple plan but it does require some precautions

First you want to advertise online
– like Facebook marketplace and Craigslist for example
– Saying that you pay cash for gift cards
– And the overall goal is to buy gift cards at a good discount, 50-60% should be fair
– But depending on the popularity of the card, if its not that know you may offer less

Second Where do i sell it
– The first option is on the same websites you bought them, that way you get cash asap and try to sell it for 10-20% discount
– Now if this card doesn’t sell as fast as you want
– You can always use online website to sell instantly but you won’t get as much profit obviously

Third: Look out for scammers
– Make sure the code on the back has not been scratched off ( pin Number )
– Use the code that is visible to verify the balance on the gift
– People can just go to a store and steal the card, but if it hasn’t been activated it won’t matter

Tip: back in my day i use to go on eBay, to buy movie tickets, popcorn and soda for a big discount ( just a fun fact )

2. You can use gift cards to meet credit card spends
– This is something i did back in the day
– But it’s a little weird
– Its called manufactured spend

The idea is simple:
– People do this because when they get a credit card that offer a bonus, for spending a certain amount of money, they can do it without having to worry
– They call this manufactured spend
– You get serve reloadable debit card, use your credit card to buy visa gift cards, go to walmart and reload your serve cards with those gift cards and pay back the credit card

Its that simple:
– Now whether its legal or not, i will say its super weird

3. Use Gift Cards to save money
– If you know the business side of gift cards
– And you know you will be spending money soon on lets say an ipad
– You could buy apple gift cards for a discount and then buy your items at a discount

Same idea:
– But sometimes you could go on eBay
– To look for a more wide selection
