How to Know if You're a SELLOUT #CreativeThoughts

There are people getting way too comfortable with the word sellout who don’t know what being a “Sellout” actually means. So in this video, I’m going to help you figure out how to spot a sellout and whether you are in fact “selling out “.

I’ve been planning a video called “Sellout vs Starting Artist” for a while and I still plan on doing that video since I’ve been teasing it for months. But this video is partly in response to some interviews and responses where I’ve talked about my future plans to sell books and courses.

It’s funny that people feel so entitled to tell people what content they should or shouldn’t be making, how to run their business or what they are or are not allowed to do, and they use “Sellout” as a way to attack or devalue their successes.

A few YouTubers have covered this including Casey Neistat recently. That one is more political, but other YouTubers have been talking about the hate they get and being called YouTube Sellouts whenever they do a sponsorship brand deal.

Being a sellout means, you are doing things you don’t believe in for political gain, attention or money. If you do what you love, and believe in and other people disagree with you making money doing it, you’re not a sellout and the odds are those people are projecting because they make money stuff they hate…
