How to make money in College | 5 side hustles

Usually: In these videos, you would get a list of jobs that you could find on google.
So: Instead of that, Im going to give you guys 5 categories and examples for each category.
Breakdown: Internships, Side hustles, Side jobs (no value), Investments, and Pure Money

1. Side Hustles ( this is something you can do on the side while keeping your job in college)
Example: You brainstorm an idea, borrow an idea or steal an idea (which is a part of a business)
What to do:
Sell stuff on eBay: I still do this, and this week I made $930 bucks by selling 3 items
Wedding photographer: my friend does this, he makes 200-1000 per weeding he does.
Online classes ( One lady made a few videos about cooking sour bread and sold over 60k worth of course in one year ) For one-two days worth of work
Tip: Read this 100 side hustle by Chris Guillebeau ( he has a 100 of them in there)

2. Side Jobs ( this usually provide a fixed income with your efforts)
Example: When I was in college, working at the gap was aside job, while selling this was a side hustle.
Pro: Consistent income based on time
Con: Requires time and doesn’t grow the much
What to do:
Amazon Flex/Driving service: This could mean 4 hours of work a day, which could make you 60-100 dollars a day.
Tutoring: Some people charge $15-$50 on the hour depending on what your teaching
Retail/FastFood: The gap, McDonald’s and more
Tip: If you have to do one of these jobs, use the money that comes in to fund a side hustle.

3. Internships ( Some people like and some people don’t like it)
Example: If your college then you want a career which is cool
Pro of internship: You can get paid and also experience for the career
Con: You could not get paid, however, yous till experience.
Story: I remember when I college, a guy asked me to edit and film his movie for him, and he wouldn’t pay me, but I would get experience. ( we haven’t spoken since)
What to do:
Paid Internships: If you need cash then do this ( it doesn’t have to be 100% your career just has to relate)
Non paid: If it’s for a massive company that will help you shine and you have a chance at working for them ( don’t let people take advantage of you though, know your worth)
Tip: ask your college for leads, go indeed, and all the job sites to find the best one.

4. Pure Money – I don’t recommend this, but sometimes you have to do it
Example: These are jobs you take purely for money, no value, just money. Now Im not talking about selling organs on the black market.
Story: When I was in college, I took jobs I didn’t like: Photoshoots, editing, film work, recording content. All the things I didn’t like just for money.
What to Do: ( avoid it at all cost)
But: You could take on jobs you don’t like to build capital ( have some savings)
– Start applying for jobs even if you think you wouldn’t like it
Example: I know people that work in Gentles men’s club, and do it just for money, or have a job and do it just for money.
Tip: save all the money and invest it, so you can quite

5. Investment ( if you made it here congratulations, this is the most important part)
Example: Its what you do with the money
Story: If I made between 2-5k a year in college, let’s go with the low-end 2k.
If I had saved and invested all that money for 3 years, I would have 72k saved up
If I Invested and got 2.35% dividends which I get ontop a 7% growth: that would $1,692 bucks just in dividends
What to do:
What I currently use for investing is Acorn: I’ve been doing it for almost a years now
