YOUTUBE How To Read More Books Each Month AdminDecember 14, 2023035 views The reason I started to read more was simple, I wanted to learn more about a certain subject, and that was money. And a lot of people had written a book on money how to make more and how to invest it, and I knew there were a lot of things that I didn’t know, so I started to read more and more. ????Patreon Exclusive???? https://www.patreon.com/tommybryson ????Call Me????: https://bit.ly/30IBr0i ????Second Channel????: https://bit.ly/3c4sVPS ????????????Financial Freedom Course????????????$100 OFF CODE: LONGTERM Link: https://longtermteam.teachable.com/p/financial-freedom-steps-from-nothing-to-freedom 1. Get books you are interested in – I think this is the most important part – Some books will be dense and you will not enjoy them fully – But at least if you are interested in the subject you will be able to continue reading and actually finish the book Now when you first start reading books – I recommend you start with subjects that you like – Even if it’s not as productive as it would be like reading a textbook – It is better just get to started and enjoy it instead of not Action: Go buy yourself a good book you want to read ( that first book for me was The Giver ) 2. Set time aside for reading ( early in the morning is best ) – If you try to read in your free time, you may never have free time to begin with – The best I’ve found is to set aside a certain time to read – I like to split my days into 24-hour blocks and find a block of 1 hour or 10 minutes if you are just getting started for reading What is the best time: – In my opinion, the best time is going to be the morning – Waking up 30 minutes early to read is hard, but once you are awake – It’s the perfect time because there are fewer distractions Action: Set a time for reading 3. Set an easy goal ( 10 pages a day is the standard but I think a page per day is better when just getting started ) – That’s it – I don’t think going crazy is good – You may start hard and never even finish in the first place Here Is how I do it – I set aside my morning – And I read 3 chapters of the bible – 1 page from a personal book – 1 page from a book I’m reading with someone. – However I have to read at work too, and that can be 90 minutes to 3 hours on average Acton: Pick a small goal on how many pages you want to read 4. Replace Media consumption with reading (what your commute, get audible ) – This was massive for me – And it can be for you too – So check this out – You need to get audiobooks for driving and working out – And physical or digital books for free time Commute: I would commute for almost 3 hours a day ( when I drove I would audiobooks, when I was on a bus I would do physical books ) Exercise: audiobooks instead of music And ledger time: just set aside 15-30minutes instead of an anime episode When you run the math on that: – You read a lot more or listen a lot more – And yes audio audiobooks are tougher to remember – But it is better than trying to remember a dumb song 5. Celebrate after each book you read – I’ve never done this – But I think this would be cool to actually do Action: think about what you want to do for yourself when you finish your next book – As for me I’ll probably take myself on a pizza date – That’s it, watch this video if you want to watch more * PRO TIP* INFORMATION IS EVERYTHING ????Patreon Exclusive???? https://www.patreon.com/tommybryson ????Merch???? https://teespring.com/stores/tommybryson ✅2 FREE AUDIOBOOKS✅ https://amzn.to/2Enayo8¬¬¬ ????ACORN FREE $5????
