If I Had 100 Subscriber, This Is What I’d Do To Grow…

What would I do if I only had 100 subscribers on youtube? Although this channel has 170k, my second channel has 500 subs, and I’m growing it also. So this advice should help you out a ton.

Now before I go into details:
– I want to tell you the 3 things I wouldn’t do
1. Do not focus on fancy equipment when it comes to youtube, your phone camera and good ideas are good enough when your getting started. ( if you have money to get a camera get a canon 70D its not that expensive and can last you for 5 years of content production.
2. Focus on your own progress: it’s very easy to get caught up how everyone else is growing and how much money their making, compare yourself to yourself, and try to exceed what you did yesterday
3. Do not pretend to be someone you’re are not
– Its hell trust me
– Its 100% to be yourself and attract a genuine audience no secrets

1. Niche Down
– This basically means, make content around a topic and stick to it
– For example, my channel is all about money
– That means credit cards, businesses, passive income, and a lot other micro topics

But the big mistake:
– Is when some start a channel
– One day they vlog, the next day they sign, the next day they talk money
– And it’s the worst way to try to grow on youtube

Here is Why:
– Youtube is just a fancy algorithm, it recommends channels and videos based on what people watch
– By posting so many different types of content, people get confused when they come to your channel
– So stick to one topic

Tip: if you want to make content about different things create different channels, and you’ll find out quickly how difficult it is.

2. Thumbnails are important
– Don’t judge a book by its cover
– The video will do well if it’s good
– No, not true if people don’t click your thumbnail, youtube will not push the video
What to do:
– If your nitch is fitness, check out how the top videos in fitness thumbnail look
– And then make your own, don’t try to reinvent the wheel
– If you don’t know how to, type on youtube, “how to make a good thumbnail for youtube, using photoshop or any software”

3. Focus on watch time
– You ever notice when you’re watching a tv show
– It has a beginning, climax, and an end
– The same goes for youtube but its just one tiny bit difference

Here it is :
– Attention grabber, Whats in the video, subscribe and like, and then get to talking about the climax and end with the subscribe and like.
– Using this method and writing scripts for your videos, lets you keep track of your talking about
– That way you don’t get distracted

Tip: always plan your videos ahead of time.

4. Keep uploading and stay consistent
– All of my favorite YouTubers put time into building their audience and platform
– And the number 1 reason people stop uploading is that money
– I did youtube for almost a decade with making money

Here the thing:
– When comes to youtube you have to keep putting out content, its the only way you’re going to get better
– The more quality content you post the better
– Do no be the person that posts a video once a month because it needs to be perfect ( that BS) – I recommend 2-3 videos per week, and if you want to really get better, post everyday.

Tip: I make 14 videos a week, and when I first started it took me the entire day, and now it doesn’t even take me 4-5 hours.

5. Take Courses and learn
– There are people out there that are better than me, and better than you
– And as long as they are willing to share their advice
– Go and learn from them

The truth is:
– For a long time, I tried to reinvent the wheel with youtube
– And I failed, I probably would have eventually gotten it
– But the point is, why to keep failing on your own when someone already had the answers and willing to share it with you.
