So when I look Shiba Inu, one of the latest mean cyptos, out of 13k crypto currencies now and counting. It’s the one that had the craziest explosion in a while. And it would give anyone some serious FOMO.

1. Before I tell you this “Secret” lets go over the details
– Shiba inu is one of those new meme Crypto’s
– That’s has garnered a lot of attention and also people are putting a lot of money into it
– Those naturally creating a lot of gains for some and a lot of loses for others

Some Details:
– Its gone up over nearly 30million percent
– Although I did see a tweet that said 11 months ago would have turned $1000 into into 1.2Billion

But other details people don’t mention are these:
– Theirs a supply of 1 Quadrillion Coins ( no scarcity )
– It is Super Volatile
– The only thing keeping this boat from sinking is all the new money hoping to make new money

2. However lets Stay positive ( and try to be rational unemotional investors )
– Obviously when we look at stock we want to look at the foundamentals
– Is this company healthy, Does it have an edge of the competition and whats the price relative to the value
– And if the company checks off all your boxed then it sounds like a sound investments

But Tommy: this Coin has Real World utility
– Can trade NFTs
– I can earn potentially money on it
– And their working a decentralized exchange
– And it also has a strong brand

If I’m being Honest and most of us are being honest :
– People aren’t buying for any of those reasons
– People are buying because they want to make quick money

3. Time for the Big Secret ( the Elon Musk Effect and the conformation Bias)
– Yesterday I was hanging out with my aunt shes 64 years old, and I don’t know when I became the families IT expert but I needed to help her with her phone

For Context:
– I tried explain index funds, but he felt that index funds were to risky
– And he proceeded to give me some inside information by showing me some youtube videos and telling me what the 1M dollar guy told him

Elon Musk and Conformation Bias:
– Elon smart guy, but all of sudden people believe that his the king of investing, which honestly his not. What people do know is that he can move the niddle, so people hedge on his word ( which is terrible thing) – it’s the equivalent of not being able to think for yourself and make your own decision

4. My Opinion
– Just be real with yourself
– If understand that this is not an investment which is not
– Its just a bunch of people trying to make some fast money and gable ( the more you’ll be able to enjoy it and take less risk)

I actually like seeing all the funny memes and stuff

But here is my advice as an investor that cares about your capital:
– Invest 90% of your money into the things you understand and boring and don’t have this type of volatility and then only 10% into these bets

– Stop listeing to youtuber that don’t care about you
– The people making the real money in this stuff ( read about who has the most holding you’ll be surprised ) – be careful
