Juneteenth Celebration in Windom Park June 19 | Arts & Entertainment

Join Our Voices for our fifth annual Juneteenth Celebration in Windom Park, happening on Thursday, June 19, at 4 p.m. Come experience the heart and soul of our community as we honor 160 years of resilience and Black excellence.

This year’s celebration features a powerful showcase from the youth of Our Voices, with live dancing, singing, spoken word, and original art created to inspire and uplift. These young voices have been working hard to bring their creativity, culture, and pride to the stage — and it shows.

The celebration also features delicious food, educational resources, local organizations and information booths, and yard games and fun for all ages!

In addition, on Wednesday, June 18, join us for Juneteenth Film Night with the theme, “Education, Connection, and Conversation,” at the Winona Arts Center at 7 p.m.

Juneteenth is more than just a date; it’s a powerful reminder of where we’ve been and a celebration of where we’re going. For years, Our Voices has been creating safe, expressive, and empowering spaces for Black and Brown youth in Winona; and this event is a vibrant reflection of that mission.

Bring your friends, family, and neighbors. Let’s gather, celebrate freedom, and keep building forward — together.
