Krystal Hardy Allen to lead empowerment at Black Girls Dream


 The Southern Black Girls and Women’s Consortium proudly announces that Krystal Hardy Allen, award-winning entrepreneur, best-selling author, and CEO of K. Allen Consulting™, will serve as a speaker at the upcoming 2025 Black Girls Dream Conference, taking place June 6–7, 2025, at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. 

Under the theme “She Got Next,” this year’s conference celebrates the brilliance, power, and promise of Black girls and women across the South. The two-day event will feature dynamic workshops, inspiring talks, and intergenerational gatherings designed to prepare attendees—ages 12 to 112—to dream without limits and lead with purpose.

Here, Black girls, femme identifying youth, and women are not only celebrated but empowered to dream without limits.” 

Krystal Hardy Allen, session “Thriving through the Fire: How to Lead Your Organization or Venture through the Current Economic, Social, and Political Times”, brings a transformational message rooted in emotional intelligence, cultural legacy, and spiritual alignment. As founder and CEO of K. Allen Consulting™, she has led equity-centered strategies for Fortune 500 companies, school systems, and nonprofit organizations.

Conference Highlights Will Include: 

Two Full Days of Joy-Filled Dream Cultivation: Beginning Friday, June 6 with registration at 8 AM and programming starting at 10 AM, continuing through Saturday June 7th Registration opens at 7 AM Conference begins at 8:30 AM evening with events concluding at 10 PM 

Recognition of Grant Recipients: For the first time, Southern Black Girls will showcase organizations and individuals who have received funding through various grant programs during a special recognition ceremony 

Creative Expression Showcases: Opportunities for attendees to celebrate Black girl brilliance through arts, storytelling, and innovation 

Networking Opportunities: Structured sessions for connecting with a diverse community of girls and women across the South 1 of 2 

Tech Innovation Zone: A dedicated space exploring technology, entrepreneurship, and digital creativity 

Founded by visionary leaders including LaTosha Brown, the Southern Black Girls and Women’s Consortium has invested over $10.2 million into Black women-led organizations and nearly $500,000 in direct grants to Black girls across 13 Southern states since 2017. 

“We’re creating a powerful ecosystem where Black girls and women can access the resources, mentorship, and community they need to turn their boldest dreams into reality,” says LaTosha Brown. “This is about building a future where Black girls don’t just have a seat at the table—they’re designing, building, and owning the entire room.”
