Major donation made to Ronald McDonald House

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The owners of local McDonald’s are giving back to her community in a big way.

In April they helped raise $9,000 through their ‘Happy Meals for the House’ fundraiser.

The Ronald McDonald House of Augusta provides lodging and meals for families with children staying at nearby hospitals.

Thursday morning that big check was presented at the home on Harper Street in downtown Augusta.

The Ronald McDonald House is always in need of donations and volunteers to provide meals for the families. You can learn more HERE.
