It turns out that there are over a million people who dislike the new Disney version of The Little Mermaid. According to The UK Daily Mail:

The Little Mermaid has garnered over 1.5 million dislikes on YouTube after star actress Halle Bailey faced racist backlash from trolls on Twitter
The official teaser has surprisingly received over one million dislikes on YouTube and even caused the video sharing platform to disable the dislike counter
The Little Mermaid is the live-action adaptation of the popular Disney princess film starring Grown-ish actress Halle Bailey, 22
The film has become the center of backlash as much of the online attacks have been tinged with racism, as Halle is a black woman
The 22-year-old told PEOPLE she is focusing on the support she is receiving from children, who have been touched by seeing a princess who looks like them
