Mississippi State Fire Academy Awarded $438,950 FEMA Grant for Advanced Training Equipment


The Mississippi State Fire Academy (MSFA) announced that they received a $438,950.79 Assistance to Firefighters Grant from FEMA.

This significant funding will allow the Academy to provide students with state-of-the-art Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) for their training, ensuring that they have access to the most modern tools available.

The grant represents a crucial investment in the future of Mississippi’s firefighters, enhancing the quality of training at the MSFA.
