Navigating awkward money conversations with friends

Talking about money with friends can be challenging because it requires you to be vulnerable. Whether it’s a light conversation like splitting the cost of a meal, a request to borrow money or an expensive request like being in someone’s wedding party, the intersection of relationships and friendship can get murky when money is involved.

In this clip from the Cashing Out podcast, author and personal finance expert Erin Lowry shares her perspective on why these conversations can feel so awkward.
