Phenomenal Women event celebrates a decade of empowerment and scholarships on Staten Island


STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — This summer saw community members gather at The Pavilion on the Terrace for the 10th annual “Phenomenal Women” event, an evening that honored Black women making extraordinary contributions while also raising scholarship funds for local students.

Held at the catering hall at 404 Richmond Terr., the June 14 event offered an atmosphere filled with celebration, featuring a variety of food, live singing and dancing. Performances highlighted local talent and brought a lively energy to the evening.
