Planning for the future is EVERYTHING

Many of us think that success happens overnight.

That is one of the biggest myths of all time.

Fast money almost never exists, even if you’re lucky enough to be among the athletes and entertainers who are offered large contracts.

The mindset of an investor is one where you are planning for the future long before the future becomes the present.

When I started college at the age of 18, most of my friends were not thinking about the future. They were only thinking about the next party, their girlfriend, Or what they were watching on TV.

But I always knew that one day I wanted to have a better life, so I planned for it and invested every day in order to have the life I wanted to have.

I was not a great athlete.

I was not a rapper.

I did not know how to dance well enough to be paid money to do it.

I was not an actor.

I was simply a black man who valued education and dedicated my life to understanding wealth so that one day, I could have access to the opportunities I never had as a child.

Keep going young hustlers, you will find success one day. And you must accept the idea that it can be very lonely when your mind lives at the top.
