Provincial RAISE funding for nine area businesses

Nine area businesses are receiving funding through the province’s Racialized and Indigenous Supports for Entrepreneurs (RAISE) program.

MPP Vic Fedeli announced a total of $90,000.

The program provides access to business development training, culturally responsive and tailored business coaching, networking opportunities, and a one-time grant of $10,000 to support Indigenous, Black and other racialized entrepreneurs.

“Small businesses are the backbone of Nipissing and communities across Ontario. They play a critical role in helping foster stronger and more vibrant communities,” says Fedeli. “As we continue to build a stronger, more inclusive Ontario, the provincial investment into the RAISE program will ensure Indigenous, Black and other racialized entrepreneurs have the opportunities and resources needed to succeed and reach their full potential.”
