Response to Sheryl Sandberg on Personal Branding

This is a response to Sheryl Sandberg COO of Facebook based on her statements in a recent interview https://thenextweb.com/facebook/2017/06/14/sheryl-sandberg-dont-need-personal-brand/

Personal Branding is something you can leverage or not depending on your goals, instincts and skills. Sheryl claims to know that building a Personal Brand is wrong or inauthentic. I couldn’t disagree more. I admire Sandberg and have held her up as a role model to my sisters and to friends in tech and corporate. It’s fine to disagree with those we admire from time to time. When it comes to personal branding I’m a fierce advocate and champion because I know for some people it’s going to change their life in unimaginable ways.
