SASSA committed to helping beneficiaries get paid

PRETORIA – SASSA says it is committed to ensuring that all grant recipients continue to receive their payments after gold cards stop working on Thursday.

The agency and Postbank have been urging recipients to exchange their gold cards for the new black cards that will be used going forward.

Beneficiaries without the new Postbank cards after the deadline are warned that they could have trouble with their transactions.

With the changeover deadline fast approaching, only a small percentage of recipients have transitioned successfully, indicating a gap in understanding this crucial step to accessing benefits.
