Shady Stuff I Do To Save Money

I had to do some research before I made this video, to make sure this stuff is not illegal but these are legit they are just a little shady, and this is stuff that I do or would do to save money.

1. Threaten To Leave ( Phone Companies, Internet Companies and Even Credit Cards )

-So whenever I feel like I’m paying to much for something or I want to get a discount I call the company that I current use and tell them about another company and the better price

–This works great when we have competition in our areas

This is because there is a customer accusation cost, and its worth more to them to retain you than it is to acquire a new customer

For example:

-T-mobile you guys are charging me $70 but this company has a $40 plan, we found this other option for you

-Credit Cards, annual fee is coming due, and I have this other credit card that pre approved me, same benefit but no annual fee

Tip: call different reps some reps don’t understand business

2. Renting a U- haul for personal use and not for Moving

-I’ve never done this but this is really smart and I got it from tik tok

-To rent a car it can cost you $100-$125 a day

-While to rent a U-haul it can be as low as $25 a day plus miles

3. Searching mall Trash for Items ( I don’t do this anymore but I did do it )

This is disgusting but its apart of my past lol

When I was in college me and my friend heard about gamestop, and other mall companies through out perfectly good products because they cant sell them

I did some of this and got me a bunch of posters and I think 1 game

4. I use a VPN to Get Discounts ( this works great with Flights, hotels, and car rentals )

Dynamic pricing you see one price one second and then the price goes up, it makes you want to buy asap

5. I bargain On everything ( and sometimes I leave out information, not lying just not telling you the entire truth )

Most people hate bargaining because they think people think you cant afford it

But even when I got to a store, I ask if they have some special discount going on for signup for being a new customer or something

6. Take advantage of Student Discount

Apple, best buy and even adidas give crazy nice student discount

And some of these companies don’t even verify that you are a student

7. I shop around ( I would get my eye test in one place, buy my contact in another and ask for free consultation in another )

Gym example and change of address

Sharing my memberships with friends and charging them a scamll fee

Buying a gift card to go to Costco

Amazon music subscription $1 for 6 months

10. Amazon Review Websites in exchange for free products

11. Buy subscription and digital stuff from third party websites

Cdkeys: to buy video games for cheap and game subsciptions

Ebay for gift cards

12. Yoox Website ( to buy out of season stuff for cheap )

I used this to buy some glasses for $200 that retail for $1000
