South Africa is sinking today..!! Vaal and Bloemhof dams are causing havoc

South Africa’s Department of Water & Sanitation has warned residents living downstream of major dams such as the Vaal or Gariep of possible flooding in low-lying areas within the 100-year flood line.

These adjustments are necessary to manage the increasing inflows and the safe operation of the Vaal and Bloemhof dams. With more inflows anticipated into the dams, especially the downstream Bloemhof dam.
